How to get back and forth from the Airport to Plaça de Catalunya
Plaça de Catlunya is the centre of Barcelona and Barcelona’s most famous street -- La Rambla -- begins at Plaça de Catalunya.
Barcelona Airport (El Prat) has two terminals. There is an Airport Express shuttle bus service from each terminal to Plaça de Catalunya (there is also a shuttle service between the two terminals). This service is called Airport Aerobus. The shuttle bus to and from Terminal 1 is the A1 line; the shuttle bus to and from Terminal 2 is the A2 line. Both buses begin and end at Plaça de Catalunya (next to El Corte Inglés, a large department Store).
There is also a train service (RENFE) from the Airport to Sants train station and to the Passeig de Gràcia (near Plaça de Catalunya).
A new Metro line (L9) connects the airport with Zona Universitaria on the outskirts of Barcelona with connections to the Metro system.
N.B. Our venue is not near Plaça de Catalunya. See instructions below.
